With players from all over the world, teams for all abilities, and social events throughout the year, you can see why Jokers is the perfect club for you in Vancouver.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Jokers are currently unable to play or practice field hockey. We are, however, in discussions with the relevant authorities and organizations to establish how our field hockey community can return to the playing field. While we focus on this, our normal recruitment process is on hold. The best way to stay in touch and receive return-to-play updates is join our communications list. We hope to join you on the field and welcome you to our spectacular clubhouse on the harbour as soon as conditions permit.
Jokers is Vancouver’s fun and social field hockey club. We love to hang out together. We hold big, fun parties for St. Paddy’s Day, Halloween, and Christmas, as well as social events throughout the year.
We have players from all over the world, including Ireland, UK, Australia, NZ, and Europe. Whether you’ve been here two weeks or ten years, meet new people, share experiences, and become part of the Jokers family.
Our top men’s and women’s teams compete at a high level in the Vancouver field hockey leagues. All our teams compete hard from the upper to the lower divisions, and we smile and have fun while we do it.
We have the best deck in the city, and we’re the envy of the other Vancouver field hockey clubs. It’s a great place to relax and hang out after a game with teammates, family and friends.
Our supportive coaches and friendly social teams are the perfect place for adults to make a come-back or pick up the game. If you’ve never played before, or are a bit rusty from high-school, Jokers can help.
If you’ve ever been a Joker you’ll remember us as a social, fun, and welcoming club. Nothing’s changed. So whatever level you want to play at, we’re here to help you get back in the game.
When the regular season ends, the hockey continues. With spring league, summer drop-in, and plenty of fun local and international tournaments, you’ll find opportunities to play and socialize throughout the year.
